I dont think I am going to put the headers on...
I have the Stone racing headers from the first group buy.
I have had them professionally cleaned out and smoothed on the inside by one of the top racing institutions here in Detroit.
I really dont want to messs with this. Car is now paid for. I bought it out after the lease and have a 7 yr 100k warranty.
ANother 200-250 to install them. I d rather sell them and save the money for the next toy. I will drive this car for a few more years and then get something different.

Headers are the best mod for this car. You already have them... why go through the hassle of selling and shipping them? Not worth it. Just put them on and enjoy the extra pull over 4500RPM!!
I have been in one that has headers. DarrinB'
s car ran a 1420@99 with only OBX's and CAI on stock tires.
What I am looking at is that 650.00 has greater priorities right now.

Good luck with the sale. I agree with CLpower though, $425 is a little steep. Shipping is going to be close to $40. And because you "moddified" them doesn't really mean much becuase you never installed them so you don't know if the "moddification" even helped any; may have even hurt. Can't tell until you put them on.
Used headers usually sell for about 60% of their original value. Example, Comptech headers that cost $1100 new usually sell for $650 used. Based on that you shouldn't expect to get paid more than $300 for them, becuase they have never been installed and you had some custom work done to them that you feel will make them install easier and produce a few extra HP. Oh and that's $300 shipped. You might as well put them on, you'll lose more money on the sale of the headers than it would cost you to install them!

Yeah, OBX are sons of bitches. I can't believe they put their company logo label on the REAR header. All the other companies put it on the front one, so naturally I put the one with the label in the front. Wrong. So I had to take them both off and redo it.
Then the downpipes didn't line up properly, so Chris and I had to pull on the A-pipe really hard to bring it up to the front, and have Gary drop in the bolts. But I suppose nothing can be perfect, and I'm glad I was able to get them on without any other problems.
Yeah, it took a long time, but I actually enjoyed doing the headers than the sway bars. Mostly because I had been waiting to do headers since November. I didn't want the sway bars as badly as the headers.
Nashua -- if you're reading this, thanks a lot for keeping in touch with me about the Stone Racing headers. You know I really wanted them, but I just couldn't wait any longer. Good luck with the GB.

Oh, you think the headers and sway bars installations were bad.
When I was doing the rear springs, the suspension bolt got stripped. Not only did the thread on the bolt get messed up, but the thread on the A-arm got screwed up, too. I had to drive around for 4 hours going to 7 different shops with Chris to find the correct size tap, and I had to go to Godspeed to pick up a new bolt... only to find out once I got there that I forgot the bolt!! So I had to guess what size it was, but luckily I picked the right one. Honda dealership here in town said it'll take them A WEEK to get the bolt in. Lazy bastards.
Ended up messing up the thread on the NEW bolt, too. I had to file off the thread on the tip of the bolt, retap the A-arm thread, and I was finally able to put it back together.
For anybody doing the springs themselves, I STRONGLY recommend that you get up in there and look down the hole to make sure the A-arm and the strut assembly are lined up perfectly before putting the bolt in. It could save you a lot of time, effort, money, and high blood pressure.

Heh, I forgot about that. It took TireRack nearly two weeks to ship out the correct springs. During that time, my car was sitting crooked so badly. The Comptech rake was a JOKE compared to mine.

Now there is an offer you shouldn't refuse. That is very generous.
Do you really want to sell?
325 shipped. I planned on getting in the next Group buy, but if you seriously don't want to install em (you should, the bump is amazing-I had em on my Integra GSR before my TLS) I will buy them. 325 is what I would pay for OBX, which is the other choice beside Stone.
