Yesterday on the way to the gas station (free tank of gas compliments of dealership) with my sales representative we were discussing how there aren't many 2001 CL's in the Nashville area. I commented that I had only seen 6 since introduction last year. Not more than a minute after saying that I happened to glance in my left side mirror and saw a PDG CL that appeared to be lowered with a mask and PIAA high beams (anybody here???). Well, after dropping my sales rep back of at the dealership, I decided to swing through downtown and have lunch. While downtown I counted a total of eight CL's most of which I hadn't seen before. That's not the end of it....on my way home from work yesterday morning I pull up on an exact replica of my newly purchased CL....right down to the new car registration in the window and Gary Force Acura plate in the license plate holder. What's up with that! One of the reasons (not a big one) I purchased the CL was for its fairly low presence in my area. I'm glad there's so much more to love about the CL.

Yes exclusivity has dropped lately. I've noticed more of the CL's lately myself. (I used to actually get startled whenever I saw one on the road). There are many factors involved but it might have something to do with pricing coming down due to the popularity of the TL-S and the soon to be available 02 CL-S.
Also I'd think this board has been helpful in selling more cars for Acura.

Btw, that free tank of gas. We all get the first one free. I think it's even listed on the invoice sheet?

I live in Nashville also. I hardly see any CL's and that's what I like. The gold one you saw is bc01cls's Type S. He's a member on this board also. If you get a chance, run out to Music City Raceway up near Rivergate today. They are having the War of the Imports today and I'm going just to watch this time. Glad to have another member Nashville on the team!
