Cop wrote me for a stop sign ticket in June. I hired my attorney for 200.00 and I didnt even go with him to court. Fine went from 2 points and 95.00 to 49.00 for "blockading traffic" with 0 points.

2 points are worth 150.00 in my book..

Not to mention the money you saved if you consider the value of your time to go to court (oppertunity cost). Oh who cares about economics anyway

 

i got arrested for peeling out in a rental WOOHOO, but didnt get thrown in jail or the car towed cuz i was nice. still, two misdemeanor counts, criminal court, charges of Exhibition of speed AND aiding and abedding in a speed contest.

the second one was bullshit, i have no clue where the fug they got that from. all i did was peel out at a light.

but anyway, had to get an attorney, $1,200 bux, he got the TWO counts reduced to a measly speeding ticket (1 point). WOO HOO but still a $400 fine on top
so $1,600 bux alltogether

if that didnt happen, the TWO counts go on your driving record for 7 years!!!!!! but they are misdemeanor counts. not cool at all. i'm glad my attorney was in good ca-hoots with the DA who is so goddamn fine!!!!

when i went into courth the second time i was so drooling over her legs! LOL

anyway that's my little story :p

 

7 years...that blows. Here in MI it can only affect your insurance for 3 years and state points for 2years
