Hurry Help !!
Guys you always have the answer 2 any question i have, I am planning on driving home from Florida tonite and all of a sudden today when i was driving, i hit the brake and the power flickers in the whole car and my radio resets... I turn off the sound system with the secondary switch i have and found that the Negative power cable was loose but still touching the battery..... After i cleaned and tightened the cables it seems to be ok but does the CL have any history of electrical problems or bad altinators ????\
Please help cause it going to be a long ride and i dont want to get stuck !!!!!

the neg battery cable prob just came loose for a second when you hit the brakes... it happened on my car about a week ago, because i hadn't tightened it back up after resetting the ECU...dont worry you should be just fine.

thanx for the help... Hoping nothin goes wrong.... One last question does anyone have a rough estimate of highway Mileage to expect with the CL-S

No way a CL gets 38mpg unless it's strapped to a car carrier. I would say high 20s at best.

I usually get 22-23mpg (80mph) and can get 26 mpg (60-65mph) consistently on my daily commute with stop and go traffic. I've gotten higher on long trips tho'...
The old EPA estimates of 19/28 (22 combined) are achievable, but I've found that new numbers 17/26 (20 combined) are more in line with my experience:
