I was driving back from work... going for a haircut before heading home. As usual I was minding my own business. There was some traffic on the 101 and I was prodding along. This bright yellow vette is just revving at everyone... T-top down enjoying the sunshine. It had exhaust and was not a Z06. I didn't do anything and was just driving along. For about 4-5 mile the guy was next to me in traffic and as each lane moves forward & slows down he would punch it and rev; not necessarily at me but quite annoying nevertheless. Anyways... I couldn't resist the urge and did a *pssffchhttt* on him - that must have done something cuz now he was on me.... got behind me... tail-gated... went to the shoulder and all sorts of nonsense. I was getting off and floored it a bit on the exit ramp. There was traffic and we took a left-turn onto the street. At the traffic light he pulled up next to me and was revving!?! He had a passenger... both younger guys. Anyways... I was annoyed so I rolled my window down and said "Maybe if you had a Z06 you might keep up" He got very defensive and said he can easily match a Z06 cuz he has 'special stuff' done to his car.

Light turns green and I decide to open up the exhaust and was in 2nd gear at around 30... waiting for traffic to clear up. We both punched it and my tires just let go as usual - I let off the throttle and did a mega-chirp into 3rd and had to let off again! Anyways... by the end of third and just getting into 4th I was 4 cars ahead and pulling HARD! I was a tad scared and didn't want to get a ticket so I decided enough is enough... doing this at night without any other cars is much safer! We are at a light again and I tell him... "told you so!". He didn't say a word... and he asked for directions back to the freeway!!!! His fault for trying to follow me to Supercuts!

 

LMFAO! nice kill ram. I had an eclipse do a little pffffssshtt.. to me, but it turned out he wasn't that fast. at least you can back it up.
