I went 350 with my last tank. UniChip helps the mileage a little I think.

What was your last car?

I get 350 out of a tank. Roughly 22-24mi/g.

V-power increased it by 1-2 mi/g and plus I have a 6MT.

I get about 280 and that's with almost no highway miles.

And I also think that the Unichip is helping.

I get about 350 miles for 14 gals, which right before it touches the E. But that is with mostly freeway miles, when i am driving on the street in SS I only get about 300-320mi.

I get anywhere from 300-380 for 12-14 gallons of gas, average 26-30mpg. I only have a KN drop in filter, so maybe with headers I could get better mileage.

I drive with a very heavy foot and only see about 260 but I've been disconnecting the battery and going through lots of learn procedures lately with all the unichip stuff, which is bad for mileage. With the car learned and my new unichip map we'll see how I do on MPG

400 miles on the highway, about 300 city, unless I put my foot in it - then it seems like flushing a 91 octane toilet

Cheers!

I used to get a little over 300mi on the CL. I'm sure I could have gone up to 320+ but I always filled up at 300. Not too bad considering 495 is stop/go on the way to work for about 1/3 of the way.

Gauging mpg by watching mileage for tank is a poor way to gauge mileage. I never let my tank get that low because of sediments in gas. I'd rather just figure mpg from gallons bought divided into miles driven. I get around 20 or less in the city. Don't know how people get these higher mpg, must be automatics, the 6 speeds are rated less. Highest I ever got was 26 on the highway.

For my daily commute, I'm getting about 350 miles per tank. I usually fill up just after the reserve light goes on; which requires about 14-15 gallons to fill up. For long distance drives, I get about 425-450 miles per tank when cruising at 70-75 MPH.

BTW, I'm running with a CT i/sc/h/b-pipe/e. When I'm on it a lot, I only get about 300 miles per tank.

The highest gas mileage I've gotten is about 30 MPG and the least is about 21 MPH.

been getting 350-400 miles to a tank lately w/ the unichip. that's with my foot in it.

i'm guessing a straight shot down the freeway would net 450 miles, maybe more.

i don't buy that. how could the 'crap' in the gas stay separated w/ all the sloshing around from the movement of the car?

Went 360.6 miles and it took 12.619 gallons = 28.576 mpg.

I almost never get below 350miles to a tank, and if I do alot of highway driving Ill get over 400miles to a tank. I usually fill up once the gas light is on, and it usually takes about 13-14 gallons. I have averaged 24.5mpg for the life of the car so far.

Do comptech headers really make that much of a difference in your gas milage? How much of a difference would it really make?

Headers and CAI should improve gas mileage b/c of better flow and efficiency. That of course, unless you have a heavy foot because of the increase HP

I would of course suffer from the "more power lead foot" syndrom which afflicts to many others on this great forum.

I have been getting 22.5 mpg in the city, 27.5 mpg highway. I always fill up at the quarter tank mark, and I will usually hit 300+ city, 360+ hwy. Only have a CAI.

Full tank to low gas light since the S/C:

tank #1: 243
tank #2: 224
tank #3: 227
tank #4: 205!!!!!

Shell 93 for all tanks

Guess I shouldn't spend so much time in 3rd gear on the freeways

Huge gains... but much smoother torque curve now so the drastic change seen in vtec rpms pre-S/C doesn't seem to throw you back as much. The rate of change in rpms and mph don't lie though... boost = +++whp. Love the whine. I haven't had a chance to dyno it yet... and I'm working with the stock crank and S/C pulley for now until I feel the need for another upgrade.

Still waiting for the tranny cooler to arrive, then I'll be heading back to have that installed and have them look at a squeeking noise coming from the pulley/belt area - it chirps faster and faster as I gain speed. Also need to find out why my temp can skyrocket quickly when idling after a decent drive in warmer weather (might be some air in the system? thought they bled it all out though). Runs fine at 2 ticks below half when moving though.

We'll see how the track times are when I go... hoping for 13.9 - 14.1 range provided I can pull 2.2 or less 60' times.

Cool deal man.

Makes sense to leave it open for the HBP upgrade. If you start with the HBP there's no where to go. Other then with the IC.

Best of luck with it and looking forward to some track times.
