How well does CAI compiment Headers?

who has this setup: Headers and CAI?? I have headers and the second i picked up the Ack at the shop, i felt an amazing difference, more than expected. Now with headers drawing air out, the CAI is logically the next mod so it can force air in. Now most of what Ive read on here is from people with only the CAI and they claim minimal mods, nothing special. My only concern is to know if it is worth tracking down a Comptech CAI for the CL-P? for me personally, the main thing (as with many) is would i gain any NOTICABLE pull from my car?? like anything at all, no matter how small b/c the setup does make sense, but again, why not just stick with headers if no extra NOTICABLE pull (no matter how small as long as felt). I guess that shows how happy i am with the headers, definitely a great mod even for the Cl-P!!

thanks for any input!!

Why have a freer flowing exhaust if you don't have a freer flowing intake? More oxygen plus more fuel = more power.

I have Tanabe exhaust, V2 CAI and DC Headers and all three perform and sound much awesome. The thing I like the most is V-Tech engagement is much more noticable with the CAI. Besides it will get faster the more you push it. the computer will relearn the mixtures eventually.

my gf is in LA right now and I am thinking of getting her to bring me back some parts to save me from stupid shipping to canada and brokerage fees. I was thinking of AEM V2s CAI and XS headers. Would those be fine for my CL-P? How much does it usually cost to get headers installed at a local shop? I am tihnking of doing the CAI install myself because it doesnt seem that hard. Advice greatly appreciated.

I installed my intake and headers.

Intake:
easy. hardest part for me was taking off the front bumper. Some of the tabs broke and I had to get repacements. took me hour and a half by myself.

Headers:
medium. hardest part was the bolts on the cat. soak overnight with PB and use Bolt-Out. youll be fine. took me about 4 hours because of stubborn bolts and having to go to the harware store three times.

shops cost alot. learn a lil somethin and do it yourself....you'll be really proud of yourself and know the job was done right

a_martin001 has the right idea. I wouldn't take any thing to a shop if you can do it yourself.

couldn't get to a bolt for the resonator without removing it. yeah I've heard of going in from the wheelwell, but removing the bumper just made life easier. especially when it came to adjusting the position of the pipe and/or filter. it really wasnt a big deal.
