I just got rid of the sqeaky stock tires and got toyo proxes 4 in 225/45/17 on my stock tires. They seem to grip alot better but the question are these tires as good as the other leading brands??

 

Well they are all season so there is a tradeoff. Pimpdaddy has them, and he does really well in the twisties that we run. The T1-Ss are quite a bit stickier but no go in the snow. Since you're in SoCal, next time go with the T1Ss.

I though the all season Toyo's sucked. I had 2 sets of T1's on my stock rims & they were just great. The FZ4's I didn't like at all. I had a set on 18's I used to have.

 

I have a set on FZ4's on my stock rims, and i love them. I would want to try the T1S's on the next set.

 

You won't be sorry, they're perfect for the Bay Area, awesome in the dry and wet !!

 

they don't grip since they are M+S. I believe the only advantage vs stock Michi is PRICE.
