How to remove ceiling mounted sunglasses case/lights ?

The dropdown sunglasses "drawer/case" above the rearview mirror won't retract and stays down and removing the two small bolts inside it doesnt release it, and no more screws/bolts are visible. I figure I could fix it if I could pull the unit out, and I pried and pulled on it a bit but afraid I'm going to break it. Any suggestions how to remove this unit after the 2 bolts are out? And a fix for the glasses holder not retracting?

center ceiling console glasses holder/light switch unit closed

There should be a total of for screws/bolts to remove the roof console (with sunglass holder) as shown below.
They are probably under the map light plastic lens.
