The current E-class (95-02)--W210??? 0-60, and 1/4 mile stock times? MB says 0-60 of 6.2, but i'm thinking 5.9 if the conditions are swell.

BTW, can a srock CL-S take one, wat if it had i/h/e? Thanks

 

i raced one a few days ago, my cl is stock and his was a e430. i had about a one car lead from ~70 to 120... now i dont know if he was just playing with me, but it looked like he was punching it, i was kinda suprised actually.

 

wow, word? maybe had a 320 and had fake E430 badges lol :p

:P Damn its weird, b/c all the people on the TL board say to avoid the e430 esp. from a roll b/c its a torque ,onster. Any more opinionS?

 

It might be close from down low but it will rape us up on top. That's why it's a V8 and we have a V6.

 

Maybe our CLS can hold up for the first 2 gears but anything after that, it goes to the E430, hey they have a V8 pumping out 280hp after all.

 

Actually, a stock CL-S can beat an E430 in the 1/4 mile with a consistent driver. That is the R/T should be quicker off the line. I raced one 4 times at the track. I came out ahead 2 out of 4 times due to R/T times being better than his.

I was running 15.1-15.2 and his times were very similar to that. However, beyond 3rd gear, it's Buh-Bye for the CL-S
