I was wondering how popular ABP was. Thats the color I plan on getting, and was wondering how hard it would be to find one in good condidtion.

In Houston I have seen maybe 3. Ever.

 

popularity? ABP is my favorite color (besides my TW) i'm sure others feel the same way.

it's a pretty rare color and if done right, it can one of the hottest color for our cl. search the photo gallery for some of the nicest abp on the road.

 

ABP is my favorite color. I will be getting a CL in the summer. Thats the reason I was asking how rare they are, that way I can start looking now and hopefully find one by then.

 

It's a good color but you might not want to limit yourself to that one only as CL's are rare as it is.

It also swirls too easily; just like black, unfortunately.

Idk about you but when people put their hands on my car (I guess they feel an urge to touch it?) it gets all swirly

 

03 ABP 6-speed rolled by me today, loved it, 2nd one i've seen in person. Beautiful color, it really is my favorite color on the CL. If i were you I'd look for one until you find one, you have a while it seems so you can just wait it out. If I were you i'd try as hard as i could to get a 6-speed. but if your set on the auto, just be aware of the possibility of problems w/ the auto.

 

Ive seen one CL-S 6 speed ABP with navi at the same lot where i used to work at. Must have been a state worker. My favorite color, not too light and not too dark. Must be easier to keep than my NBP and I bet it shines like a gem in the sun. but getting color combos are hard for these cars, so I would be a little open minded when looking for a CL. I have probably seen 3-4 NBP, 3 SSM, 2 SMR, 1 White, 1 SDG, 1 dark green, and the one ABP. (sorry if i dont know the technical color terms)

i've only seen 1 ABP in person. i can't recall ever seeing TW locally though.

 

ABP is my fave color also. When detailed right, there's nothing else like it.

 

I have an unlce that can look at auctions for me, so I'm glad I have plenty of time to find one.
