How often do you guys clean your K&Ns on your CAIs
The K&N site says the K&N is good for 50K miles before cleaning. (They said it, I didn't.)
1. Do you think the K&N people are correct.
2. If not, how often do you guys clean your K&N (if ever or yet).
3. Did you buy the filter cleaning kit? And who did you buy it from?
4. Anybody think their filter got real dirty from all of the pollen or other cr*p that is floating around the highways, etc?

I have used K&N filters for 20 years. This may not be correct, but it's what I do. ONCE A YEAR I remove the filter, wash it and re-oil. The K&N literature states that as the filter becomes soiled, they become more efficient in both filtering ability and flow. I don't know about that but thats what it says.
