How much should I spend....

I have and '01 Cl-S and I want to tint the windows. I don't want to get ripped off and you guys all seem to know whats up. How much should I be spending the whole car? I tired to use the search but didn't really find anything that helped.

thanks

$210 for mine here in MN.
As a side note, be sure to have them tint over the break light in your back window. This may require you to remove your rear seat, I don't know cause mine wasn't tinted over and it looks lame. If I were you, I would only go to a tint shop that you have heard good things about from others. I just went to the local Ziebart since the local independants are a little shady according to others.

i paid 180 for mine and have gone back to the same place about 3 times with all my other cars. Remeber you get what you paid for...You might find someone to do it for 100 but then youll have that tint that looks purple after 1 yr of the sun hitting it.

I paid 200 for mine and couldn't be happier. Has a lifetime warranty (so I was told) but its been 2.5 years and no problems!

Just make sure the shop is reputable. I went to a place recommended by various peeps in Acuras and Audis.

I would have to agree, even though I could have spent a lot less, I am very happy with the $210 I spent, I only have a 10 year warranty, instead of the lifetime, but I will never have the car that long anyway.
I have taken my last three cars to this place and have had referred 5-6 friends there too with only one problem that was taken care of without incident. So find a good place and pay the extra $$ for a job well done.

Up here in MD, I paid $99 for 20% on the sides and rear window. 35% on the entire windshield for $65. Don't tell anyone.

It depends on where you go. I paid for $150 when I had my 2000 Intrepid tinted w/ 35% on all 4 doors and rear, and it wasn't that good of a job...shit was peeling at the top of driver's door.
