My friend's in the market for a new CL Type-S 6speed. How much should he be aiming to pay. He's looking to buy at Acura of Troy in Michigan. Thanks.

 

They were going at or even a bit below 'invoice' recently. Production stopped last month, so they're becoming harder to find, especially in a color/navi combination that some want. I'd imagine that the dealers want to unload them off their lots, so use that to your advantage.

Check out Edmunds.com or Carsdirect.com for what the market is paying.

 

I believe the best price I heard so far was something like $29K w/ navi and spoiler....but that doesn't include tax, title, license.

 

several folks on here--including me---paid 27 K plus title,tags, tax; that includes an incentive that Acura was offering its dealers of 1K

last week when i was there they still had a few cls6s one had headers intake and springs on it too, they would probably be willing to deal since that car has been on their lot from october when i bought my six speed

 

thats where i got mine, they have the best prices in the MI area

 

Amazing i actually know the dealship you're talking about; i know quite a few people in the Troy area.

I would also recommend Ann Arbor Acura, but they hardly have any CLs left last i checked - and i don't think any of them are 6 speeds.

 

When I was looking in May, Al at Lindsay Acura in Columbus told me he found 11 6-speeds with no Nav in Silver or Anthracite. I'm sure there are fewer now but should be able to get one cheap. I paid $27,500 + tax with 2.9% financing.

 

I paid for an 03 CL-S 6 spd 27500 plus ttl in Texas and I precently owe about 18500 on it becasue of my 01 Cl-S trade in.

 

Any Canadian '03 CLS 6sp buyers out there who can tell me what I should pay for the last 'in stock' (spoiler only option) at my local dealer? I have it sitting in my driveway tonight and have to return to dealer with either a cheque in hand, or the keys (don;t think I can hand the keys back.) The price he's asking is just south of $40k, that seems steep.
