How much did you guys pay for alignment??

Well people give me too many excuses and they dont want to do my car.. so i guess im just going to take to an acura dealer, they said they would do it. SO how much should it be? The guy said $99.95!!! I guess I have to. I mean how much did you pay to the Acura dealer to get your alignment done?
Oh and how much did you pay for the CAI install.. if its cheap then i will have them do it, or i will just do it.

I thought I needed one, but the 30K service cleared up any problems I was having... No alignment needed.

I asked how much the it would have been, and the dealer said $67.

Just a reminder....get the lifetime alignment before you lower your car. Otherwise, they won't sell you the lifetime.

Acura Crazy- I can also help you with the CAI install if you want to do it yourself. I did mine with a friend, didnt take too long.... If you want it done by someone professional, Orland Park Acura once gave me a quote for $37 I think.

So you're not going to the other alignment place I told you about? I'm telling you..they are the shit! And only $45.. it's up to you though

page 11 of the 2001 acura warranty book ("new vehicle limited warranty") says that wheel balancing and wheel alignment after 1 year or 12,000 miles are not covered unless required as part of a warranty repair.

does this mean that balancing/alignment *would* be covered for cars <1 year and <12,000 miles? (and no modifications)

I believe that's true for all new cars. Sounds like it's covered.

My experience with Fireston and places like SEARS for alignment is that the workers are straight out of mechanic school and don' know shit. They tried charging my friend for a 4 wheel alignment on a VW Jetta, meanwhile only two can be aligned! I go to a local reputable shop now.
