Does anyone know how many Sundance Gold CL-S' were produced? I 've heard a few different numbers

 

They were only made in 01. 900 total, 450 with Nav, 450 without. From what I know, I read it somewhere, can't remember where though. Correct me if I am wrong.

 

That sounds right. I remember hearing that number but not sure about the navi/non navi

 

Remember a while back someone posted a photo of a wrecked PDG CL-S and remarked that now we are down to 899. With this snow coming down, I hope my wife doesn't make it 898!!!!!

 

Just enough for me to park next to one every few months and think 'Boy! Glad I got the red.'

 

Do the PDG CL-S have number like one on those limited production car stamped on the car like this is 700 out of 900 car..

 

Not that I know off, but when my bodyshop ran the color code it comes up as limited production.

 

YES....900 is the correct number.
I’ve seen pictures around over the past 2-years of at least 10 that were totaled.

I’m sure there are probably only about 825-850 left on the road.

As for if that’s good or bad for the PDG owners has yet to be seen.
I’ve heard of some outrageous discounts given on leftover new Gold CL’s when the 2002’s came out.
Down around 24-25K w/ NAV if I remember correctly.

Scorpius, you may not like the color but at least mine is still on the car and not flaking off in little chips ............must say that PDG paint is certainly better quality than the rest. No offense taken at your color choice by the way

 

If you're going to trade it back to an Acura dealer....anyone with PDG is going to get their feelings hurt. I'm thinking a $2k (or damn close to it) hit just for having the color. Lets just say, I'm glad I leased it.

The last few times at the dealer waiting for service, one of the sales guys are pointing out the differences between the CL's and the TL's to customers......at some point in the conversation, this is said "The TL is our best selling car, so the discount is not huge....now if you want a CL, I can do whatever I want."
