Just wondering how many 2nd Gens are in GA and haw many would like to join LeGeNdArY LeGeNdZ on their next meet.
We always have a lot of fun with at least 20+ cars per meet. The only problem is we never see any 2nd Geners. We want to fix that. So any of you guys in the area holla at me, let me know sumthin'.

i was at the meet with a black CL-S, one of only two 2nd gens....and yeah i was expecting many more. no ATL 2nd gens?

 

I'm in Atlanta w/ a 2nd gen CL ('01 Type-S). It's completely stock and really not that exciting though.

What do you guys do at these meets?

i was going to attend the last meeting you guys had at Blalock Lake. But then I found out it's in South Carolina and 180 miles away

i've seen quite a few 2nd gen CLs around... more and more recently. There are 2 other silver CLs here at CNN parking deck, and I ran into another ACL member near Barrett (sp?) Pkwy a while back.

 

It was in Jonesboro right by the Atlanta Motor Speedway.

 

oh really? no one posted directions to the lake (or i may have missed it) so i just looked it up on the net... the closest / only "Lake Blalock" i could find was in Cowpen, SC... oh well

 

I really wanted to come, and was planning on meeting a few guys down in mid town, but something came up and I couldn't make it in time to meet everyone at the AMC. So I posted a request for directions to the lake, but no one ever posted any.

Plus I realized it was close to a 2 hour drive from where I live in Lawrenceville. Maybe we could have one at like stone mountain next time!!! Cruise around the rock a bit!!! And I know there would be plenty of good photo opps!!! I'd be down.

 

Shouldn't be that far. I go from Dunwoody to J'boro in 30-35 minutes..

 

Hey, I am in Dunwoody too... I drive a Black Type S '01. California tags (for now).

Where abouts in Dunwoody? I live around Chamblee-Dunwoody and I-285. I drive a Black '01 CL-S also. It's completely stock so I won't stand out very much.

I am finally getting the windows tinted this month.

 

I live on Peachtree-Dunwoody... My apartment complex has a private entrance to the MARTA (not that that is a big deal, but you know how close I am to the North Springs MARTA)

Hey, who are you going to for your tint? Lets get together for lunch on a Saturday or something after you get it done... I would like to see how they deal with the 'dots'.

Atlanta Motor Speedway is in Hampton. I worked on a Jet Engine Dyno right behind the track at Tara Field so I came to know that small town.

Everyone is ceratinly welcome, in fact I would love to have a nearly stock 2nd Gen to test the RES on, or not. Plus, this is easy enough access for almost all members just near 285 and 41.

 

I was the the other 2nd gen to show up to the blalock lake meet. It was a lot of fun and I was suppriesed that only two of us came out to the meet. The guys from LL are great. Crusin after the meet was awasome so everyone that can needs to come to the meets

 

It's a guy out in Snellville that a few of my friends have had their windows tinted. He does installs also but I think tint is his specialty. He's going to charge me $185. I asked him about the dots and he said he's done it before and if you do it right they aren't a problem, so I guess we'll see. I didn't find anything cheaper around town. When I get it tinted I'll let you know and we can do lunch and you can take a look.

 

An Atl meet in the city would be cool, my tint has the dots too

 

Black on black owner here..livin off Cumberland blvd...i hardly ever see any of us out there..i work off 14th, and there is a silver cl-s around my office..any of you guys here?
