nevermind, i think i a figured it out-- my skidmarks start 45feet before her car, going at 35mph, its like 51ft/s , so i was more than 1 second between me breaking and her stopping..(because of slowing down due to negative accerlaration it would be more than one second.. most like 1.5 or so -- plus her breaking time add on like .4 or .5 seconds, 2 seconds, also plus my reaction time which would be most like.7 or .8 making it a grand total of around 2.7 seconds distance between me and her-- which is legally amble distance.. the law in kansas is 2 seconds--

is there anything else i should add? thanks for input.. the police report does say that i had ample distance, i have a witness at a restaraunt watching it who says it was not my fault i broke far quickly enough.. i have pictures of skid marks, and measured them.. i did not recieve a ticket of any sort, the lady in the car infront of me did.

If the police report specifically says it was not your fault, then you've got nothing to worry about. That's all that really matters here.
