how to import cars from outside???
I hope someone can help me. I want to import a car (namely a 2000 Nissan Silvia S15) to the u.s. As of right now they dont sell this incredible car here. I want to know if there is a way to import it from either japan or australia or wherever i can buy one to the the u.s How hard is it to do this??? any companies that will help me out??? how much modifications will i need to make to meet u.s. smog regulations??? any info i will truly appreciate and praise your name forever thanks a million

There is a company that advertised in the current issue of "Sport Compact Car" that provides that service. I have the issue at home, if I remember I'll post it. If you don't see it posted here, e-mail me to remind my lazy azz.

Yes, you can get a 240SX (the U.S. spec Silvia) and swap in a SR20DET Spec R motor easily. You can also purchase JDM body parts and stuff too. I think this month's SCC is dedicated to S14 and S15's. i think they said you could build one for under $5000, but I haven't read the mag and I don't think I believe it either. I wouldn'y mind building an S15 Silvia, but first, I gotta work on my JDM EG Civic HB, with B18C5 and LSD, mmmmm....
