You know i hate to push on my car but it is a little like the car desine is for speed. (I guess for me). i guess it feels so right.
But we have races here in CT on this main strip a couple miles long in a nice area. But mad cars are raceing on the road and watching at all the fast food places.
So i take my car out for about an hour and i say i punch her about 6 time the night. And drive quickly to get to cars.

I dont push it all the time but since the weather is getting nice more and more cars are comming out.
I guess i run it hard only once or twice a week and back to my question you think thats bad for the car.
I have 3550 miles bougt the car in dec last year.

 

all i can say is that i love 2nd gear and i think i spend to much time in that gear while crusing around town. i wish we could control 1st in SS.

i think if honda allowed us to manually shift from 1st to 2nd while in SS i would spend all my time in 1st and 2nd gear. this car loves to pull hard

i love to go WOT at least once everytime i drive her...

The engine is made to be driven. The tranny isn't.

 

I drive mine VERY hard on the street and it sees about 8 passes a month.

 

when i race my cls..i push it to the 6500 rpm and shift...that is what vtec is made for and that is why ss mode auto tranny are made for..isn't that right?

Trans=sux

 

Enjoy your car...hard driving is not what's killing the tranny's.

 

As i've said before, just drive it already. That's what you bought it for
