How do you rest the ECU?
Webtoker's post of JSuppi's dyno prompts this question. I installed the AEM last week but I don't think I reset the ECU unless it does it automatically when you disconnect the battery. How do you do it?

You can either disconnect the negative batter terminal or pull the ECU fuse. Be sure to have your radio/NAVI security code prior to doing this as youll have to re-enter it to unlock the device. When the car is started back up it will take approx. 75-100 miles to recalibrate the fuel mappings for optimal settings.

I think you have to leave the battery unplugged for 15-20 minutes as well, you'll know for sure if you usually live in VTEC range (ahem, Xephyr, cough) -- then you reset the ECU, and all of a sudden your shifts are like a grandma driving an NSX ... hahaha

hey guys, forget about disconnecting the batt--what a pain in the ass with the battery cover & resetting everything. i can't figure any advantage of a battery unplug v. a fuse pull for the ECU. (i'm sure i'll be 'corrected' if there is one tho
)
so to help the CAI newbies--here's a little more info on what to do:
* fuse for ECU is #6 on driver side fuse box (we have 3 fuse boxes-under the hood, driver side and pass side). REFERENCE PG. 293 in owner's manual--ya know ya got one!!!
(also, see p. 289 for removing the dash side panel to the fuse box)
* to pull the fuse, you need the little 'fuse puller' that is located in the fuse panel under the hood
*unplug the ECU fuse for 15-20 mins
*re-insert ECU fuse (IMPORTANT-heh, heh) and start car
*let car idle for 10 mins to allow ECU to remap-also a good time to listen and see if you have any 'humming' problems (nope, it's not because you car is just 'happy' to be able to breathe now, it's caused by something in the CAI not being connected tightly--your car will thank you by 'growling' !!)
*get in car-drive like a maniac-do a run from a dead-stop and bark second-pick on an IS300 or a low-life in a bimmer-have FUN!!!!
