How do you guys clean your Nav's
I remember when I had a tv in my old car they car wash people messed it up by pressing to hard on the screen and putting some sort of liquid on it. Im afraid this will happen again, so what do you guys use to clean your Nav screens from all those fingerprints? Windex? water?

Have u used the towelette that Acura supplied you with? For normal greasy fingers, this tends to do the job. I've used a small amount of windex and that did the job too.

Windex should be fine.

You can get one of those really soft cloths like a lens cleaning cloth at a camera store. That's pretty similiar to what the car comes with. And don't let them clean it at the car wash!

I would use water and a soft cloth, I heard when you use Windex (has amonia) it will mess up your screen display... Anyways that's just my 2 cents..

No windex.
No ammonia.
No window cleaners.
No caustics whatsoever.
Just use the plain microfiber cloth that came with the car.
If you feel it's really necessary you can use an agent designed for your computer LCD monitor (which is just weak soap and water).

DONT USE WINDEX
I use the cloth that came with it most times.
When I need to clean off them pesky stuck on mcdonalds french fry prints I use moist Eye Glass wipes.
works like a charm.

Microfiber Towel with distilled water (or my bottle of Crystal Geyser == drink and/or clean).
Here is a handy link to some of the best MF towels around (check out the Elites in light blue). Elites go for about $3-$5 each depending on quantity. IMO, they are as good as the YoSteve MFs and work great on the interior, outside, and glass.
There are sales at times, and I got 25 of them for about $3 each (free shipping during the sale) and they rock for cleaning the Navi screen.
I keep one in a Ziploc and drag it around with a few bottles of “clean” water.

Correct! Do not use amonia based glass cleaner. To make the unit touch screen capable there is a clear membrane laid over the LCD. Amonia will damage that membrane and make it less sensative. A strong mix of amonia will even dissolve the membrane and render the touch capability useless! BTW this applies to any touch screen device!
