I'm seriously going to be the voice of the busted actuator begging to get fixed. I can only imagine how many people out there have a busted actuator and don't know about it. This makes our car look bad in general.

Someone, let me know how to report it and I will keep you updated.

If this proceeds I will ask you all who have had your actuator fixed to let me know so I can give them some numbers.

Mine goes in on Tuesday. After I set up the appointment, my SA called me and she said she spoke to the head mechanic and it is not possible to tell if it is not working unless you use the electronic diagnostics. I reference our forum and she said "Don't you think Acura themselves are a better source of knowing their cars that what you find on the net?" I said NO! See ya Tuesday and I'll bring some references. Can anyone post their service record or fax it to me so I may use it for numerical reference.

 

Have your Dealership's Service Manager call Eric, the SM at Tustin Acura 714 669-1188.
They can discuss the problem! Eric has replaced two of ours so far!
