How do you calculate when your warranty expires...extended?

or do I have to call the dealer?

Seems pretty simple -- 4 years/50,000miles -- but I do not know when it began.

Also, I am looking to get an extended warranty --- can I do this through Acura or would you suggest going through some other company, if so, which ones and what type of warranty?

Thanks.

Bad experiences with nonAcura extended warranties all over this board. Do a search. They deny coverage and some even filed bankruptcy.
The date the original warranty starts is the date the first owner buys it. Just supply a dealer the VIN and they will tell you!

You can also call the Acura 800# ? and they will tell you, it helps if you want to avoid the dealers. I trust the corporate Acura more than the dealers, and basically corporate is the final answer.

All correct answers...

I also strongly recommend AcuraCare only.
