How do I remove the resonator?

first off, is it even worth removing the resonator? so far, i have the K&N drop-in and comptech headers. i don't want a cai b/c i don't want the added noise...will removing the resonator make it loud as well?

so, if you guys think it's worth doing, can i get some direction. i have the basic idea, but i don't want to find myself lost knowing that i could of checked with you all first.

thanks!

The resonator is there to quiet the noise, so if you remove it, you will increase the noise level. I don't think there is any perofrmance benefit from doing this. I watched Xephyr remove the whole unit and the resonator box is at the bottom and is just a box that quells the noise. JMO though.
