This may sound like a stupid question. But what is the fastest way to get off the line. I have been just flooring it in 1st gear (Tiptronic).

It's best to have a little bit of wheelspin off the line...that gives you much needed traction while pumping up your revs...so, you can get into the powerband quicker.
