CL-P Racing
Any CL-P owners here ever race their cars? There are plenty of Type-S stories here, it is a very formidable car. I just wanted to know if the CL-P could hold its own in a street race because I get mine in about a week or two...anyone as over anxious as me to go see The Fast and The Furious?!

The 3.2 CL-P can hang with the Integra GS-R, Celica GT-S, Maxima, BMW 328 auto, '98 Mustang GT, V6 Firebird, Eclipse GT manual, Lexus IS300 just to name a few.Patrick

5spd and won
00 Prelude, GTS, GSR, Si, Civic with GSR motor, 98Maxima, 99 323, 01 325, 97 GTI VR6,
92 CRX, 97 SVT Contour, etc...
Auto and Won
00 330, friend's CLS stock by little, Solara, 01 Max, 99 STS, 93 Legend Coupe, 99 Prelude, 96 GST, 98 Accord V6 with ALL bolts on, etc...
Lost
00 5spd 330, 99 5spd Maxima with bolt ons, Solara SC, CLS with mods, 99 NOS Accord, 95 GSR with bolt ons, 96 CamaroV6 SC, etc....
I ran on the track twice, fastest time was 14.8 @ 45degree with 30% humid.... and 15.1 @ 91degree with 100% humid...
I have CAI, Denso, Pulleys, on the car, its not that fast, but it does make some good gain in overall range power! It's not a very fast car, but personally i think it's enuff to run against some people on the street....
Here is how i feel... If I win, good and happy... If I lost, happy too, cuz I can see how fast others are and learn from it..... I just like my car, and respect all other cars too... hehe...

Daaamn, you're my hero Laser. I'm just so happy to see other CL-P owners like me finally posting some wins on this board. One day I'll be out there racing after I get my headers/intake... but til then.. just cruisin at slow speeds lettin everybody just admire the way it looks.. haha.
