1) remove 2 lower bum seats by pulling up on front of seat (strong straight up pull)

2) remove four bolts holding rear console, remove console.

3) remove two bolts one each side of back seat, near belt retractor. reomove seat back by lefting straight up two or three inches, then remove seat back. Note very hard to keep seats clean while doing this.

You can then access shock towers without removing back speaker tray . good luck

You should buy a Helms repair manual, it has all the details needed for these type of jobs. :0

okay...I'm stuck on step number one. I tried pulling up on the bottom seat, but nothing is happening. Should I pull harder? Are there any bolts that hold the bottom portion of the seat in? Thanks again.

I have a real ques....I had removed my rear seat bottom cushion (after using a lot of force i might add!) and when i tried to put the cushion back on, i tried to line up those two clips and push down on the seats, but only one side "locks" into the clip hole (but no where near the secureness of when the seat was first removed) and the other clip just fits in the hole w/o locking.

umm.. help

you may need to replace the clip.

those clips will never be as tight after being popped in and out of a few times.

not sure if it is already too late...

Guys, don't pull too hard on the seats, cuz it will deform the cushions. The Acura mechanic deformed my back seat cushions when doing the rear deck rattle check, luckily they replaced them under warranty.
