On a dark car, you are fortunate to be able to put lighter tint on it and have it still look nice.
I have 35% all around on my car, and I love it. But it gets pretty hot over here, so I think I would have liked 20% on the rear window.
Since you have the ebony, the tint will look even darker from outside.
for you, I say 35% would look mad clean

In PA, any tint is illegal so I only went with 35% on five windows.
The cops tend to ignore it as long as you don’t give them another reason to pull you over.
On my new CL, I’m going with 35% on the sides again, but probably 20% on the rear window.
That’s for when those A-HOLES with the big trucks are right on my ASS with their 10-million candlepower lights.

I agree, go with the 35s all around on the black car. I have 20s on my silver CL and I love it - it looks great from the outside (night and day). I needed the contrast, you have a black car so go with the 35s. But realize that at night it will look great but during the day it will be pretty light. Meaning in the sun you will pretty much be able to see right through. Good luck

My reason for getting tint was to get some privacy and keep the sun out. So I have 15% on a silver with ebony. It fine for me and people cant see too much during the day, and totally dark at night. The police would pull you over regardless of the % because its illegal to have anything on the driver and passanger front windows anyway. So if you gonna do it, do it right.

I got limo tints......it is way too hard to see out in the dark and i have trouble parking my car because i cant even see 5 ft to the left. I have to put my windows down so i can park.
Go with what you think is best....ask them to put on a sample on your car and u decide

Go with the 35% on your car all around this is the best looking tint. I would have got it on my BLACK/EBONY TL but in D.C. only 75% is legal. The cops don't even mess with me The SUVs & mini vans can get away with factory tint here but a passenger car can't have any ecept 75%. I got 51% all around & will have to take off the sides in a few weeks to pass thru inspection. We have to got thru this every 2yrs so this will be my first time with this car. The 51% gives a CL/TL car with ebony int a light shadow effect. The 35% would give you a full shadow effect. Remember that the CL/TL have green heat rejecting glass from the factory so this will make the % of tint slightly darker. This is something that my tint installer pointed out to me so say I have 51% tint on the windows it may be 48%. So 35% might be 33 or 32% with the green glass. I would say 35% all the way I only wish I could get it on my car.

Props on the hydraulics though. I just won't be able to show any of my friends that pic to show them the cool hydros because I'd be drowned out by them all laughing at the silly wing.

I had 35% on my old Vigor for close to 7 years and never got harassed. I went for the same on my TL and it looks much darker. Someone mentioned it's because of the heat reflecting tint that's already in the glass.
35% may be enough.

Well it is. Even supposing the 2.2/2.3 was a RWD car with amazing high-speed potential performance, if you wanted a wing with functionality it wouldn't look like that.

35% would look good, I think that Llumar Platinum Plus would look smooth. It is dark tinting with a little mirror accent. So it has kind of a lite mirrored tint. Saw a car with it on and it wasn't to dark but it was hard to see in because of the slight reflection of the tint.

yeah, bro try to keep it even for all the windows, i would suggest 35% all the way around....i was thinking a staggered look but decided on the 35 all the way around....its looks tight with the 35% all the way around, dont go any darker
