How to clear your headlights?

I'm looking to take the amber out of my headlight housings... Any instruction??? Is it illegal to replace stock signal bulbs with either white or blue blubs?? If it's not, any recommendation??? I certainly don't want the kind that everyone talks about which melts the housing.. thanks

Clearing is a pain in the ass.. does it...search for his site in CarDomain...

But putting different colors is limited to White, and Amber. You cant put in blue cause its illegal here in ATLANTA.

But clearing is a process of heading up the housing and taking it apart and resealing it back togethor with pitting it or damaging it...which is time consuming and hard. But alot of CLer's on the board have done it very well.. and use the search and put in Cleared Headlights you might pick up a tutorial..

Good luck...if you don't seal ot correctly or "pit" any of the seal, you will ruin your headlight assembly, and spend WAY more than $150 for a replacement
