i just bought a set of used comptech headers. theres black residue build up on the openings of the headers. is there any possible way to clean this up before install? or is it no big deal? some of it is flaky and chipping off, so i wanna clean it really good first. any suggestions?

 

brake-clean or just get it extrude-honed, that'll clean it!!
