How to Access Drivers Side HID Bulb?
I have taken a long look under the hood to get an idea on how to remove the HID bulbs in my 03' CLS in order to troubleshoot a likely dead bulb (and replace if it is the bulb). The passenger side seems rather simple to access but I can't seem to figure out how to access the driver side bulb as the black cylindrical cover is surrounded by other parts/equipment making it so I can barely see it, much less get in there with a hand and torx bit.
From my search around the forum I get the impression that it is somewhat simple to change out the HID bulbs without removing the bumper but I seem to be missing something. Is there one particular item(s) to remove in order to pull the driver side bulb?
Thanks.

The torx screw is right there facing upwards on the drivers side i thought. I swapped bulbs before to check if i had a bad ballast or bulb and i never had to take the bumper off. It should just be the torx screw on the circular cover...it has a warning on it about electricuting you to death.

take out to air box, then take the rad. sheild off and then their is a little divider around the lamp, pop that off and take the overflow bodle out.... like fuzzy said and then you have access to the screw and the room to remove the cap
