How about some positive posts?

I see alot of talk about how our trannies give out, rotors warp, squeeks and rattles, etc.....i've had my car for about 2 months now and i know thats not very long but i have yet to encounter a single squeek, rattle, shimmy or anything. lets see some posts from people who have had their car for a while now and their tranny is doing fine, no squeeks or rattles, rotors not warping and all that. i think since all we see are negative posts, we are lead to believe that all CL's are going to have the same problems, when in fact i think its a small percentage of people. am i wrong??

hmmmm....

well this is a car forum and more specifically a cl forum...most members here have had there cars for awhile...i am on the same page as you i have had it for 4 months and i had no probs at ALL...the moonroof thing...nope....the rotors....not yet.....squeeks....nada...but you must remember that nothing is meant to last and nothing is perfect (except for a perfect crime) some people in the world exist that treat there car like s*** and do it cuz they have the cash to act like that and toss there care around as if it was a 50 dollar toy....others adore there car and drive the speed limit never go in the 5000+ range and the motor runs perfect for a long time....it all depends how to run...i am sure there are some people here that push there cars to the limit and maybe beyond it...but that is up to you

Even though I've got the dreaded warped rotors, squeaking sunroof rubber, and low hanging right muffler, I still LOVE my car! All of the above mentioned issues are being fixed by the dealer as of today. So.... it's positive!

All mass produced cars have troubles, these little problems are not changing my opinion at all. I stepped up from a 2000 Accord SE sedan (4 banger), and love this engine. The car is a true joy to drive (in the 4 days I've owned it, anyway!!)

It is like everything else, people always point out the bad things and this being a car forum , people ask questions about things they are seeing on their cars. I for one am glad about this since it gives me a heads up incase I run into something in the future. I dont really worry about tranny problems or anything I read until it happens, but when it does you have a good idea of what it might be. I take very good care of my baby but do push it past 5000 rpms every now and then , but it is built for that.
Other than sunroof , actuator and very slight rotor warpage, I have been trouble free. It has been a fantastic ride and I love every single one of the 27 thousand miles I put on it. Every car has problems, you would see the same thing on the lexus , infinity or any other car forum too. They are not all the same, some have some problems others dont. But it is always good to stay informed for the future.

Rotors and pads and actuators are just very small problems compared to massive recalls by manufacturer's like Ford...While they are annoying, they are not life threatening like the Explorer saga..

OK. I love my car no problem so far ... The only thing I hate is the milage goes up so fast. 6months and 10xxx miles. I've got to complain with Acura about how they made the seat too sticky. It's so hard to get off, thus the milage keeps going up

Well I've had my car for 9 mo. and 24k miles. No problems whatsoever. Not even the brakes or rotors. No sweaks or rattles, or even the sagging tail pipe. Installed the springs finally and love it even more. I recommend springs for this car. I guess thats a positive story. Also I think my car was built on either tues, wed or thurs. :p

I positively love my car even with the few quirks it has. Is any other car perfect?! I don't think so. I have 4700m and only problems are noisy sunroof and possibly leaking seal near EGR where I am loosing some coolant of which I haven't had to add coolant yet. The ergonomics of CL-S is better than any other car in its class and better than most in any class. Hows that for some good vibrations?!

my max is the only car never to return to the dealer for a fix(25k) +++
the i30t only for an airbag sensor(73k) +++
cl-s sunroof, rear headliner clip, hood repainted by acura, rotors soon +
the cl-s is still the most fun and most loved, but nissan has been better out of the box in my personal experiences the truth is the truth

1 year, 3 months, 28k miles. No tranny problems, muffler is straight, brakes are fine, no squeaks, seats aren't hairy, Navi works great, crossing my fingers. The only problem I've had with it is one time in particular where the f*&#er wouldn't start, had to try several times and for several seconds each to get her to turn over. Bad part is I was taking a girl home and she had just said "Wow, this is a nice car..."
Since no problems starting, makes you wonder though...

my 2 cents...i did a thread about a month ago attempting to analyze how many CL's/CL-S's were being manufactured a day in the OH plant...i had concluded that approx 150-175 cars a day were manufactured (assuming 20 day production months)...now that's a lot of cars...i could definitely see how the POTENTIAL for small problems like rattles and squeeks to occur in our cars...the brakes, rotors, and tranny issues are more of a design flaw...they have to go back to the drawing board on that one...anyway, i guess with all that production, things could b worse problem wise for our babies

it seems that the early models had less problems than the later models, namely the paint and the actuator.

don't know for sure, it just seems that way.
