Hood Support

Does anyone have idea how to go about removing/replacing the hood support? I already have a new one I ordered online to replace the one that is oozing gas.

Yeah, its very easy.

From the top of my head: pop out the thin metal strip using a flathead screw driver near the top of the strut, give it a slight tug and it should pop right out. The bottom part requires a slight tug IIRC.

I know this question is directed at the OP, but I got mine from JuniorBean who is a vendor on here, a little cheaper shipped than what the dealership wanted.
