Hood Repaint?

Hood Repaint?
Has anybody had their hood repainted? If so, what was the approxiamte cost? I'm contemplating if I should get hood repainted when I get the parts of the car repainted as a result of them getting keyed. I can't stand to see the rock chips anymore and white, dried wax on in the pits of black paint doesn't help the appearance any.
While i'm getting that done, I may get the emblem shaved. Does anybody have pics of a completely shaved rear? I remember somebody with a bodykit did it, but I can't find the pics.

I got my Hood & Bumper Repainted, but some minor Metal Bending was priced into that, as well as a New Front Left Light. Cost: $ 1033.00
Paint job is Much Nicer. 6coats and 2coats of Clear ! Time to wax it now been over 30 days
