first the accord, now the S2k!
just read it on vtec.net:

there's a HUGE JUMP in torque too!
Hmmm..... seems like the '04TL might actually be a monster! can't wait to see the actual numbers, on the dyno!

although the TL didn't get any displacement upgrades i believe it should get a nice bump in power. We'll have to wait for the dyno's for the proof. But Acura did similar tweaks to the engine in the MDX a while back and it got 20hp increase.

I was THIS close to buying a S2000. It just isn't practical enough for daily driving. I needed soemthing to drive in the winter months.
But hot damn that car is a rocket. At 6000rpms the car is transformed into something I would relate to taxing down the runway in a jet. It's scary.
With the lack of torque in the car, it was HARD to achieve good times unless you had balls of steel and felt comfortable in dumping the clutch.
The additional torque in the '04 should make this car REALLY cook.

i drove a 04 tl w/ like 50 miles on it, i got up on it very hard more than enuff times, it felt equal or maybe a tiny bit slower than how my cl-s was stock, but the guy told me he drove one w/ 700 miles and it felt noticable quicker
i dont think a engine is fully broken in till 7-10 k miles
