Yea but the accord has a body kit while the CL gets nothing. With all the accessories the coupe looks pretty good, but kinda pricy.

If you think about it, their pricing strategy is actually pretty smart. The cost is so high so that it doesn't undercut the CL and makes you think that at that price you might as well get a CL vs. the Accord because if it was cheaper there would be no reason to get the cl.

No thanks. The styling of the new Accord is very similar to the CL however the CL still just looks better.

To each his own i guess. Reguardless the Accord is still one of the best "bangs for the buck".

That car looks good with the bodykit! Overall, that's a nice selection of options.
But, decked out the way I would go that thing would be running over 30K!

No way for an Accord!!!

This means only one thing: expect the next CL (if there is one) to run about 36-37K.

You guys seem to forget that when the CL-S6 first came out they wanted $32,000. Now you can get one for $28,000. Let's put it this way, when I went to buy my car in 2000, sticker was saying $26,xxx plus TTT. The website is quoting MSRP which only suckers pay. I picked up my coupe for $3000 less than that. Point being, this car after maybe 6 months will be easily had for way less. There are members on accordv6.com buying auto ex-v6 (same MSRP) for $23xxx and this car came out in November. You guys know that new models or updated models get bumped.

I second that! I got my fully loaded auto ex coupe(v6) for $23,000 in december! I was really happy to get it below invoice. I just made the dealerships compete with themselves, until the price was right!

I called around today, and you can't even get a hold of a 6speed!! there in such high demand that you can't get one till march! there all sold out! I think each dealership is getting 8-10/year, so this car should be provide exclusivity for a while.

hard to come by 6MT? yeah, i'm sure they wouldn't be knocking the price down too much for that. you could probably negotiate a little, but since the 6MT is in such high demand, i don't think they will budge much on msrp pricing.

i think the coupe looks much better than the sedan, especially with that body kit, but i only wish honda had a couple more things as options...one being the hid's like i mentioned before. i see they have an mp3 player option though, which hopefully they will have for future tl's and cl's.

One thing about the Acccord, if you're into leasing.....a $30k Accord will lease much better than a $30k CL (even with the discounting) due to the significantly higher residual.

Accords are leasing champs, especially the sedan.
