Yea the wire mesh cutout is very easy, get yourself some at your local hardware store (its typically sold in like a roll of chicken wire fencing) and a tool that will be able to cut them easily, such as a good pair of metal shears. You also need a Phillips too.
Then after taking out the stock grill, you can make a template out of the stock grill and superimpose it onto the wire mesh. Measure and compare pattern accordingly, and notice the drill holes that need to be in your wire mesh pattern, 6 of them. Poke those holes by using a screwdriver or something. Shear off any piece of the wire that overlaps your grill. And then you're ready to reattach onto your hood.
Should take about 30-45 mins. 45 if youre careful about your fingers being cut with the metal.
