HKS SUPER DRAGER vs. Comptech vs. 5Zigen vs. Other...
Which axelback exhaust will give me the loudest deep sound. I don't want ricey high pitch crap, but i dont' mind a throaty sound as long as its deep. I have never heard 5Zig or CT...or ARospeed, Apexi..etc tec...the only one i have heard in person is Super drager. They are nice for the first 2000rpms then i can't hear shit...nokio's that is...do you think its because he has no intake? I have an intake in already, if i combine that with Super Dragers, will it make it louder throughout acceleration??
I doubt ANY aftermarket axlebacks would make that high pitch ricey sound for our car. The reason why they do is because they are mounted on 4-bangers. The more the cylinders the deeper the growl, no need to worry about sounding "rice".
high pitch ricey sound? the reason they make that sound I think is b/c the ones you've heard are on 4 cylinders... 6 cylinders sound dramatically different with the same exhaust... deeper... just like an 8 cylinder sounds dramatically different from a 6 cylinder, again even deeper...
it'd be kind of a waste to make a luxo-sport car like the CLS sound as loud as you can possibly make it... you might not like it on highway driving in long trips... it's an annoyance after a while... if you're really bent on doing it though I'd say go with the Apexi exhausts... they've alwyas been know for being the loudest... in most cases the more free flowing it is, then louder it will be... for example the Apex N1 which is usually used for turbo honda/acura setups is one of the loudest I've ever heard that's a quality name brand... rethink it though before you do it...

What you should get is a custom cat-back exhaust that reuses the stock tips.

So do they come WITH silence resonator. Maybe my friend didn't take them out... That could be why. Last time i checked, Apexi made silencers for their "loud" exhausts.

No he's talking about the silencer in the B-pipe. He had it cut out and a regular pipe welded in place.
