High beam bulbs

I found these one's but,these are 100w and our factorys are 60w.
Can these pop right in with no worries about upgrading anything else since there will be more current draw?

Be careful with higher wattage bulbs, on a previous car I ran higher than OEM and they burned out the sockets eventually and had to replace the pigtails connectors.
My real question is why? I have used my highbeams maybe a dozen times since I bought it back in 2003. Arent the HID's bright enough? Are they maybe aimed wrong if not?
Is this just for looks? If so just get some Silverstars and they wont look yellow compared to the HID's.

basically for looks. All my lights look good till you pull the high beams and it looks like every other cars lame yellowish lights.
When I'm ridding with the hid's I feel like I am in a differnt ball game with 3/4 the cars on the road.I actually hide the high beams cuz they do look like trash.

And our high beams actually work very well, for their intended purpose. They light up the road when the HID's dont go far enough, and especially when you want to get someone's attention they are angled just perfectly to be VERY obvious that you turned them on.
Now if you care more about looks than function, go ahead and get some ricey blue lights that look cool but output less light

Just an FYI, even econo cars have optional HID's, so their not really anything "special". You can get a kit off ebay for like $100, so its not an exclusive club.

Since I'm all done modding my headlamps I'm just looking for some pop in looks.
I like the blue lights if thats ricey.I dont like when it gets into the purple's and the pinks.
Also I was just trying to match my headlights so it dont look like a circus show.with multiple colors.
I think madmuzic's look good I might try some of them too.

I am actually selling those bulbs in the BM!

I def didn't get mine that cheap though...fml! They are pretty blue, and bright as hell! When they aren't on you get a nice blue tint in the housing where the high beams are.
