my pass headlight went out w/out flickering, there wasnt any change of colors that would have indicated the bulb dying.

so we pulled the pass bulb out and then i bought a new pair of hid and installed them. and it wwas working.
but then few hrs later that blows out again(only the pass side). i didnt even use it as much.


what could it be the ballast or fuse, should i work on the fuse first? then see if the ballast is bad? (hope its not the ballast) coz it worked for a few then later on it dies out, i dont kno what to do now. tried searching but so far i havent read any that had the same problem as mines, mine worked when i installed the new ones then it died afterwards, their new as well.

it wouldnt have to do w/ anything from when my mechanic changed my front radiator right, like he accidentally diffused something or whatever?

If you car has warranty it should be covered.

 

yeah prolly the ballast, just picked mine up today!

 

CPO doesn't cover the ballast. I bought one online for a few hundred easy to install just make sure you have the Torx for getting the ballast off.

 

ok its the ballast, so i got one for $40 aftermarket ballast.

now how do i install?

does it require to tkae off the headlight therefore taking off the bumper as well?
