hid lights?
hi i saw on a website that there are d2r 6000 k and d2r 8000k i know that the 6000 k will fit on my cl but will the 8000k ones fit on there? and i want a look that will look purple or more blue so which bulb will be better? and what i sthe current k's on the stock bulbs on our cars?

Keep in mind that the higher you go on temp, the lower the light output is. I believe the stocks are around 4200k, so personally I wouldn't go over 6000k as the 8000k are more for looks and less for actually lighting the way.....

the only true 6000k bulb is the philips ultinons. anything else is coated and usually a cheap brand. at least make sure they are philips or osram bulbs if they are coated. personally i would just put philips d2s bulbs in. they will be brighter becuase there is no black coating on them. are you going for looks or light output?

there on plasmagarage.com but they said its the same thing as philps and they have the sam eligth output as them but i just wanted something like the bmw or audi lights i guess more looks then lighting
