Hey, you old farts!

We've heard from the youngest. Who is the oldest CL owner here?

And if you start asking about their annual incomes you'll get your butt kicked.

Oh, and did your parents buy you the car?

33 Years Old and NOOOO ...... my parents didn’t buy me the car.

As for the income thing, MYOB, lets just say it’s great to have 12+ years Mechanical Engineering experience under my belt.
Although some of those young kids are making pretty good $$$$, if they are telling the truth.
If I was making over 200K a year, I really don’t think I would be driving a CL-S.

I'll be 32 when I get my CL. Ahh, the things you can afford when your single again.

I may be 32 but I still got the ladies after me.

Mom and Pop only got my first car, $2,000 on a 76 convertable bug. Maybe I can find some new in-laws to buy something for me!

Ciao!

We've had this discussion before on the other CL Forum and I suspect that there are more Old Farts lurking here than are letting on. Being born on VJ Day, I've got kids old enough to be buying their Old Man a CL-S ..... I asked, but they shined me on.

That makes me feel better. Finally, I'm not the oldest guy around. I am 49 years young. Fifty in April.

Yes, my parents did buy my first car. 1972 Datsun 240-Z ($4500). I was 21 years old.

Sure, I love the performance of my CL-S, but some of this racing at triple-digit stuff I read here has me shaking my head.

I must be getting old!

Yes, TAKE FLIGHT, I'm about 18 miles due south of Grove City, just off of I-79.

--JoJo, when I was 55 I was driving (and enjoying) an Accord LX 5-sp. hatch---So, when you're 72 you'll probably be driving a new 600 hp. NSX.

I've been out to Grove City in the past to visit my Uncle. I like that area of the state. Not nearly as built up as around here and the people seem to be more down to earth. It's amazing the variety in just one state. Of course, I'm sure that area gets a bit more snow than S-East PA and I could do without that.

I think my post is a little off topic for this thread.

Damn, I thought I was going to win this. Where's my door prize? Oh well, I'm now 54-egads. Don't feel a day over 33 and that's when I honestly felt older. Ah, but a young wife, fast car, music business--who's got time to feel old??

I'm scheduled for my mid-life crisis later this year (I turn 40 in June). I decided to prepare early by buying my 001 CL-S last December. So, I still have an excuse for buying a Harley in June.

Whew … thanks to all of you experienced folk who truthfully posted your ages. At least I know that these stats won't be as creatively inflated as some who posted their incomes.

For the record nobody has any damned business knowing that I am 46!

46 -- going on 18 since I bought the CL. (I raced somone yesterday for the first time since I was 19.)

First car was a '67 Pontiac Catalina; my money, but it broke the bank and the old man had to pay the insurance. Thank God I didn't get the Type S... I'd need help paying for it again with that power.
