Hey guys... from the other side of the world...
I know it's been a long time since I've actually posted on the forums...
And I know this isn't the forum to post BUT I'm usually in here so I thought I would see familiar faces.
I have less than a year in Iraq left, it definitely has its bad days and good days. I just wanted to say that I'm keeping safe as I can. There is much more stuff that happens than the news portrays, unfortunately.
My CL-S has been sitting back home for ages now and I can't wait to jump in it once I get home.
Everyone take care and pray for the troops abroad.

I was wondering where you were. I didn't realize you got deployed.
Do you get to interact with the population very much? How's morale?
Stay safe and get back here as soon as you can. Wishing you all the best

Look........my co-worker's son is somewhere over there and I've heard the stories-
you and everyone there stay EXTRA safe. And let all your fellow troops know we support them ( not the policy ) and pray for them everyday.

I got a few Air Force buddies out there. Take care of them please . Take care of yourself as well. Not a lot of people I know that have came home from Iraq has been normal.
-Maybe your CL-S will keep your sanity in tact! When you come home we'll (the 2nd Gen CLer's) all celebrate. Maybe throw down a beer or two w/some liquor on the side!

from a marine friend:
We have a Marine friend in Iraq. I sent him an email asking him to spread the word amongst his comrades to ignore what they may see/hear on TV, that we here at home appreciate their service & sacrifice. His reply, FYI:
"Don't worry about that crap on TV. We don't listen to it anyway. The President was here about 3 months ago. I was 10 feet from him. He talked to us for about 30 minutes. After that he hung around shaking hands and talking with the troops for about 40 min. Of course the cameras didn't cover that.

Stay safe. I think one of my local customers (who also has become a friend) who has a 03 TL-S is over there too. I think this is his 3rd time to Iraq and he's about 22. He's a Marine. Stay away from the IED's.
On a side note if you are worried about your car, give me your address and where your keys are and I will keep her warm and ready for you.
