That thing looks badass, I just can't imagine losing THAT much trunk space for a sub. I bet it thumps though. I want one. I wish I could add that to my Amazon wishlist.

ski hole and amp?

Did they bolt the amp to the back of your box...if so then i would suggest that you find a way to cover the wires until they are not seen...this is one impecible rule that stand in car audio fashion. The point of you having the box the way it is was to show off the amp...so show off the AMP and not the wires. But you are still stuck in a delima...the box is 99% most likely to sound better the way you have it... however it will cause more rattle that way if you didnt dyno mat your tunk. If you can leave the ski hole open and leave the box the way it is then you will probably obtain maximum pleasure, however the rattle noise may enter the cabin of the car easier too. Experimenting is the your best bet...spend half an hour turning the box, opening the ski hole, etc. until you find what you (the listener) not everyone else thinks is the best. BTW..dynomat your licenseplate or get resourceful and make sure that sucker is on tight. One last suggestion..take the box out and lift your trunk lining and look for meatal objects that can move (ie JACK, jumper cables, coins, tools) so that you can stabilize them in order to reduce rattling! Good luck!
