As big as the box looks, it is only 15 or so inches deep. There is still plenty of room for the golf bag still

A friend of mine had the W7 installed in his GT Eclipse powered by the JL 500.1 amp and that shia hits incredibly hard! His rear view mirrior shakes so bad he has to re-adjust it about every minute.

That sub can make all the hairs on your arms and back of your neck feel like its standing straight up.

To go with the sub my friend had the Focal PolyKevlar components and 6x9's (The 6x9's are cheaper line than the PolyKevlar I think) installed. Not cheap but worth every damn penny once your hear that stuff.

Much props on the stereo setup!

Man that box is HUGE but nice looking. Wait till you have the rest of the system in there...it will sound even better. So tell us....how bad is the rattles when you are outside of the car???

It doesn't rattle that bad at all....... As for why I didn't get a custom box....I figured why make a custom box when JL has already gone through the guess work for me. The box they were gonna build for me wasn't much smaller.....I also saved over $150 by buying this box!!!!

Your amp must not be turned up at all cause I had to dynamat my whole trunk lid and fill the rest ofit up with great stuff, and it still rattles ....
on top of that i only have 250 watts going to it....
if your trunk isn't rattling your not useing that speaker right...
it's funny though my amp is set up the same way the same way

later....Z

Nice setup!

Hella picture of the Sub in "Motion"!

You would get more sound in the cabin if you left the Ski hole open, it serves as a port into the cabin and bounces the sound through the passenger compartment.

Impressive that it doesn't rattle when you aren't in the car, I got lucky and I have no rattles as well, but I also don't have a spoiler or license plate cover that would help that either.

That speaker box does look like a third eyeball though, kinda spooky, but I bet it sounds nice!
