Nice man,

I think he said he gonna keep the stock one on. Also how much was it and is it really noticable?

Well I wanted to, but I dont see how it comes off. Its attached to the firewall and I cant feel any bolts to take out. The neuspeed bar fits with it there, so I figure it cant hurt anything, just make it better. But it would probably look cleaner taking the stock bar out. Jens, any suggestions?

It cost me only $99 for each bar. I bought them at Neuspeeds office so they gave me a good deal. The strut bar is significantly better. For the price, its a no-brainer upgrade. I thought the springs and sways made a huge difference, but this really completes the setup. I will have the tie-bar put in today, so I should know later how that feels.

From an engineering standpoint, the stock bar doesnt really do much. Actually open your hood and look at it. You will realize that the bar that goes across is actually welded to two small bars that attach to the firewall. This is a very weak and poor design. The Neuspeed bar has no welds across the bar. It is a solid piece from one strut to the other. Also the way the neuspeed bar attaches to the struts is more solid. As you can see from the pictures, the Neuspeed bar has a crescent shape that wraps around the struts, not just bolted to one side of it like the stock bar. Removing the stock bar might prove more of a mess as its used mostly to attach various pieces to it.

Shucks. So it is more difficult than it seems to install it.

Dont get me wrong, it only took about 5 minutes to install. But the stock bar has the fusebox and other wiring attached and/or bolted to the stock bar.

Is the bar supposed to split into two separate parts at the ends because it looks like just one solid bar in your picture pictures??

OK, I just got the tiebar put in, and all I can say is DAMN!!! The car handles so tight now. I took it for a test drive and it was sweet. Yes the strut bar is only a single piece design. But unlike most strut bars you see on the market, this one does not have the pivot points.

Nice car Code3Smith...

Is there a website that has the Neuspeed bars available?

[Are they the same ones for the 98+ Accords?]

Code3Smith do you like the weapon R intake? Did you see any difference with it, I am assuming it is a short ram style and not a CAI?

Hey Code3Smith.. I talked to Neuspeed at they confirmed that the Strut Tower Bar (part# 35-20-96p) fits the car but that the Lower front tie bar does not(part#45-20-32)..he told me that that only works for the 4cyl Accords. Does that make any sense to you? Were you able to put the lower front tie bar without any problems?? I am ready to order but I just want to confirm with you.

Well I will call Neuspeed and talk to their sales manager. He is the one that helped me out. The tiebar was installed today and fit perfect. Easy as pie to install also. Just take two bolts out of the frame, place the bar between them, and use the provided longer bolts to reattach. The part numbers came from the sales manager directly this morning when you guys asked me about it. Im not sure about the rear tiebar, but if they make one for the accord, Im sure it fits ours. The car drives so solid now its sick.
Call them and ask to speak with Joseph the sales manager. Tell him Brandon Smith from Santa Barbara sent you =D He will remember.
