I followed Jen's instruction on how to remove the cabin air filter last night. After 2 yrs/30k miles the air filter is kinda dirty. I'm debating btwn buying a replacement Acura filter or buying a HEPA filter from Sears and cutting it to fit the filter box.

My question is, has anyone done this mod ? There's so many different HEPA filters out there, does anyone know which one is the best fit at a descent price ?

the replacements are $10.50 each at auto zone,,come on spend the big $$$$

 

Replacement acura filter has the same part number as Purolators filter. The only difference is shrinkwrap and logo. My 30k is approaching soon too.
