Clamp a pair of vise grips on the lug and use a titanium drill bit about the thickness of the stud and drill it out.
Use something to dimple the lug first,or the drill will probally walk all over your wheel.
Is this a front or rear wheel ?
Can you get to the rear of the stud?

its the rear. the only way to get to the rear of the stud is to pull the hub and the only way i know how to do that is to get the rotor and caliper completely off. i would rather just spend my time trying to break the stud then to take the whole rear assembly off.

btw theres no way to cut it i tried to get my cut off tool inside of the wheel and it wouldnt fit the blade is too small anything bigger would not fit through the spokes. i tried a pry bar to try to keep the stud in place no luck either. im done for today i was so pissed that i was going to just replace the whole assembly wheel, hub, rotor, caliper.

i dont get it u mean the extended stud was a replacement for the original? u could always pull the wheel away from the hub between the hub and whel with shims and slam it in to reseat it in place them us a very large impact to drive it off, did it to a 05 malibu after my moms wreck.
or try heating up the lugnut too while pulling the wheel out. the expansion of the lugnut might brake it free to get it out
last resort u could cut the stud between the wheel and rotor if u could get in there

I think the big question is How much do you like that rim!?

Have you tried to pull really hard on the rim and loosen it at the same time it would be difficult to do but may work especialy if you had a friend pulling on the rim

so i've come up with an idea. shoot the hub bolt out and getting a phillips screw driver to unscrew the rotor and im just going to pull the caliper out with the hub. then ill just cut the back end of the stud it should pop loose.

like wood shims like a 2x4 u cut to slid in i have dont it on old trucks and cars with a torch to heat it up then impact it off. rust and crossthreaded lugs are the biggest pain in the ass.

u could probly get a shim between the spokes then carefully hammer it in then apply heat then try to drive it off. be careful to heat only the lug nut. should work

You may be able to cut the wheel to one side and get underneath the car to get to the back of the lug.

Who installed them? And you have to use open lugnuts on the extended lugs, not the closed stock lugnuts.

the video shows a closed lug similar to a factory style, and i have a really good question. why do you put extended lug nuts on? is it for fancy lugnuts or wheels or what?

the reason why i have extended studs is because i have the ssr professors that have a +55 offset. Ill be fitting a 25mm spacer in the rear and a project kic spacer in the front. the reason why i used the oem lug is because its an oem rim you can use the tuner lugs on it. and plus the cap on the end of the lug nut pops off. i was driving it in and thats what happened. i already popped off 9 of the lugs this was my last and this is what happened.

Still confused. The stock rims are +55. How wide are the SSR rims? Adding spacers pushes the rims further out. I don't get it?
