help with uneven exhaust

Ok, so I just installed my RT cat & Tanabe exhaust and noticed the driver side was a little lower than the passenger. I searched the site and found the hose clamp solution. It's not dead center but close enough for me. Then I noticed the driver side sticks out about 1" farther than the passenger. Maybe I didn't search enough but is the driver side sticking out too far or is the passenger side not far enough back? And can I bend the hangers or should I just take it to a muffler shop?

Driver side

Passenger side

I think every CL had this problem. I had mine fixed under warranty but I think all they did was bend the hanger. That should do it for you.

check the hangers and the rubber pieces that the mufflers hang on...pretty sure you can get new ones at autozone or advanced (or at least one new one) to solve your problem

go get hose clamps and put them around the rubber hangers. then tighten them and it will raise the exhaust up.

I already got the clamps to fix the height. My question is about how far the tips stick out past the cut out.

Yeah, it's about an inch off. So should I bring the driver's side forward or the passenger's side back?

I didn't have any problems with forward or reverse fitment. But my CT's did hang a little low on 1 side & they shook. I used some heavy duty nylon zip ties & tied up the hanger a little & this pulled the 1 side up even & stabilized the mufflers so they didn't move so much.
Been that way for over a year now.
